Dr. Robert Junod

Dr. Robert Junod is currently a Research Scientist for the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) and the Alabama Assistant State Climatologist. His primary research focus is on climate change, developing climate monitoring products, and machine learning(ML)/deep learning(DL) model development/validation. He is currently working on developing a global near-surface air temperature dataset and assisting in the development of SPoRT ML/DL models. He joined SPoRT in 2020.
