Introduction to NUCAPS Products for Fire Weather Potential

This interactive training will introduce users to NUCAPS Soundings and Gridded Products with an emphasis on application for assessing the potential for fire weather conditions. We will examine several examples in Oklahoma, Colorado, Alaska, and Canada. Upon completion, users will be familiar with NUCAPS product’s strengths and limitations, visualization tools, and suggested fields for analysis.
