Snowfall Rate in AK
Description:
Passive microwave data from several instruments make up the NESDIS Snowfall Rate product, which aided Alaska forecasters with monitoring snowfall events in over-land regions lacking radar coverage. The Snowfall Rate Product was improved in several ways from 2014 and reassessed for the winter of 2015.
